PokyPow joins the Soldered Electronics Inkubator
New contract for a prototype and joining the Soldered Electronics Inkubator.

A couple of weeks ago, I signed a new contract with Soldered. At the end of June, they will start developing the prototype. This prototype is optimized for their manufacturing process and will add the child lock feature I wrote about a couple of weeks ago.
I also joined the Soldered Electronics Inkubator.
Soldered is known for its E-Ink screen Inkplate in the maker scene.
What does this mean?
- I get a reliable manufacturer in Europe
- A partner with experience bringing a product to the market
One of their recent project was the Zerowriter Ink, which I have been following for quite some time. A very interesting device for writers!
I love single-purpose devices. They remove the distractions a laptop or smartphone has. That is why I use an E-Ink reader for reading and a voice recorder for creating drafts with my voice and Whisper.cpp for transcoding them to text.
Anyway. When a new prototype arrives, I will write something here.
